AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE 1699 HISTORICAL COMMITTEE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to the 1699 Historical Committee, out of any available funds, an amount not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), during Calendar Year 1999.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
